This has come from talking to this guy
So this is the cast. GREGORY SMITH Haven\'t seen him since Everwood huh? Well in this incarnation of LM, Rob is 19 and entering College he basically takes on his heroic responsiblities during the summer between high school and college. I think Greg could play a 19-year-old angst filled super hero entering the brave new world of being on your own. ASHLEY TISDALE Yes, THAT Ashley Tisdale. The one from those high school musicals and Disney Channel shows. She\'s hot. She can act. Plus Jen is like Sharpay with a conscience. And without the sudden burst of singing. EUGENE BYRD He\'s pretty much unknown. I actually made this decidion after seeing him on a \"Bones\" rerun. He can play smart. I\'m sure he could play the hacker genius and all around cool guy Patrick. EMILY OSMET She\'s ADORABLE. Yes, I\'ve seen her in Hannah Montana. She\'s played a dark character in a Cartoon Network movie. Girl\'s got range. Plus Des has taken on this cute, yet vulnerable role. Plus she\'s already experience at keeping someone\'s secret identity. ZAC EFRON Yes. That Zac Efron. I realize now I spelled his name wrong on the pic. Okay, so superheroes need supervillian. Plasma Man is more of a lost soul. He\'s constantly tormented by the skull of his father. He\'s driven to doing evil things. Casting Zac just to see what he does with it. And this comes from some really good scenes in the HSM movies on Disney (have not seen the third) and his past performance on SNL. He could totally play a deranged spoiled rich kid bent on world destruction. JEFFERY DONAVAN Yes. Yes. A thousand times yes. He\'s perfect as Matt, Rob\'s father. He can play a methodical MacGuyver-ish spy who has trouble with a normal life. Matt\'s a detective on the Mineport PD and Rob\'s role model. Donovan can play soft and still be able to throw down in the same scene. RACHEL NICOLS The only movie I\'ve seen her in is STAR TREK. And only for a few mins. She was great in that scene, and she\'s done P2. Haven\'t see it, but she has the look of Karen. A no non-sense doc who genuinly loves Matt and his son. I think Rachel can pull that off. CHRIS NOTH That\'s right. Chris Mothaf-in\' Noth. He\'s played a rich man. He\'s played a tough as nails cop on Law and Order. He\'s the freaking man. I kind of understand why he\'s not that big of box office draw. Has had the chance to spread his wings maybe. I don\'t know. I just really liked him in Criminal Intent. Thoughts? |
